NEVER BUY A JAGUAR iPACE!! They cannot get the parts to repair them! Paid over £72,000.00 for a brand new iPace in August 2019, spent thousands installing car charging bays, thousands £s wasted car insurance (as I was told to keep it insured as it is not insured on their premises by their insurance.. scary), lost income for 8 months and loss of reliability. Stratstone are unable to fix my car! After numerous visits through faulty batteries (various dates up to this last fiasco), in August 2023 it went back to Stratstone in Houghton le Spring, THEY STILL HAVE THE CAR !! No sign of them being able to fix it and the only communication now is a weekly email from Stratstone basically saying ‘no parts arrived yet’. No apology, no kiss my arse, no nothing and certainly no offer of a refund!! I tried going down the Jaguar Customer Care route, what a farce that is, they don’t even have the decency to reply to me to explain why they are struggling to fix it after 7 months. All I have had is stupid excuses that this is all new technology to the fitters, shortage of batteries globally, etc etc.. bit of a lame excuse when the world is going electric. If you are thinking of buying a new iPace, try this little tester before you buy, look for a Jaguar Customer Care number and see what happens, you will not find a phone number, just a virtual assistant then maybe a real assistant that just forgets all about you after promising it will be dealt with as there is no reference for the conversation! So, in a nutshell, my car is rusting away in Stratstone Houghton Le Spring, devaluing daily, no indication when it will be returned to me. Today is 22nd April 2024, almost 8 months. DO NOT BUY AN iPACE. Just found out they are not making them from later this year.. I wonder why??
